The 4 Tricks to Remember Names

Published on: 16th June, 2021

Dale Carnegie, author of the self-help classic How to Win Friends and Influence People, published in 1936 said, “A person’s name is to that person the sweetest, most important sound in any language.” Over 8 decades later and that line still rings true especially in business.

In short, remembering names is important because it makes the other person feel special. Additionally it shows that you value them, you’ve taken the time, even if it’s just a moment to listen to and remember their name. When you use a person’s name in conversation they also feel more comfortable with you and are more likely to open up to you.

If you have ever struggled to remember names listen in for my 4 tricks to remember the name of every person you meet.
