Episode 31
The 5 Words That Can Reconnect You With Anyone
Time seems to go by so fast doesn’t it. Like one day you're in high school seeing your friends everyday and then you blink and it’s your 25th high school reunion. It happens in business too, you make connections, you have every intention of staying connected, but you get pulled in a million different directions and forget to send that email, or pick up the phone and make that call. And at some point you determine that far too much time has gone by, that it would be weird to reach back out, because you don’t know what you would say or how to explain why you haven’t been in touch.
The truth is there is no amount of time that can’t be overcome. No distance between your last hello that can’t be bridged if you use five simple words. People think they need an excuse or a reason to reach back out to people, you don’t. You simply need these 5 words.
Listen in to discover how reestablishing connections with your dormant relationships can help boost your career and your social capital.
